Joint Training Overview

Marine Mammals Research Association (DMAD) under the agreement signed with ACCOBAMS (Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic area) will be running another training course to qualify individuals as Marine Mammal Observers and operators of Passive Acoustic Monitoring systems with ACCOBAMS and JNCC certifications. 

When: 17th - 25th July 2023
Where: Fethiye, Turkey
Registration Deadline: 15th May 2023
How it will be conducted

The course will be held across the week and delivered by Dr Aylin Akkaya and Patrick Lyne. The end of the week will be focused around practical application of the course upon a sailing vessel in an area occupied by sperm whales!!
