ICCB early bird registration extended - join our WILDLABS workshop on movement ecology innovation!

We're so excited to get a chance to see some fellow wildlabbers in person at the International Congress for Conservation Biology (ICCB) 2023 in Kigali, Rwanda this July! For those of you who haven't booked yet, note that Early Bird Registration has been extended through May 15, 2023.

Pre-congress events are also now open for registration, and we're thrilled to be hosting a two-day workshop on Bridging Sectors for Movement Ecology Innovation. We'll be presenting the findings of our recent Tracking Progress research project as well as working to facilitate connections and collaborations to advance efforts around expert-identified priorities. If you're working in this space and are interested to join, please let us know. You can sign up during registration for the main congress, or go back and add it on if you've already registered.

We'll also be organizing a handful of conservation tech-focused social events throughout the week, including a happy hour + tech show & tell, a networking event, and probably some impromptu lunchtime meet-ups. We're also coating a list of conservation-tech-relevant sessions and events, to be shared soon. Message our team or comment below if you're planning to attend so we can make sure to loop you in!

ooooh! Not sure when I'll be getting to Kigali still, but definitely interested in at least the networking event! Might be a last minute addition to the workshop if I get down early enough.

Hi everyone!

Quick coordinating update - whatsapp group!

We can't wait to see you at ICCB in just a few days. We have a whatsapp chat with wildlabs folks attending - dm me or email if you want an invite! We'll use it to keep track of what everyone is doing, good talks and various networking lunches and events through the week.
