Hello everyone,
I would appreciate help in understanding how we can effectively address climate change when certain projects, such as industrial activities, significantly contribute to the problem. For instance, industries often cause water, air, and land pollution, harming aquatic life and negatively impacting human health and biodiversity. Additionally, emissions from these industries, including gases like carbon dioxide (CO₂) and methane (CH₄), are major drivers of climate change.
My concern is that some of these projects are funded by major financial institutions like the World Bank. If these institutions provide loans for activities that exacerbate environmental degradation, doesn't this mean they are indirectly contributing to the climate crisis?
How can we tackle this issue and develop clear solutions to mitigate climate change, considering the influence and responsibility of such financial institutions?

Excellent point of view, there are lobbyists out there, advocates, youth climate supporters, who are raising their voices, like you, if you are not part of them, I suggest you check out the place where you can join this dialogue. People mostly volunteer their time.
It's also great to reach out directly to the organization, specific to where they are based, address the issue, write petitions, statements for decision makers, and be part of the dialogue as a civil society or youth organization. Its like if no one start, nothing will happen.
