GISWQS (Qiusheng Wu) developed some excellent (and essential) QGIS plugins over the holidays that will make your workflows and data access much easier. Videos on installing and using them are here. Suggest you look at the Jupyter Notebook, Watch the Earth Change..., and the This QGIS Plugin unlocks 80 Petabytes... videos. They're all great, but involve differing levels of installation, with the Earth Engine catalog being the most complicated and the Notebooks the least. 

If you're not used to using GEE in the EE terminal and want to access that data in your QGIS GUI, this plugin is amazing and well worth it for your workflows.
