Hello everyone!
Check out our new paper on "Reliable and efficient integration of AI into camera traps for smart wildlife monitoring." We developed a Raspberry Pi-based smart camera trap and integrated a new AI algorithm for on-site continual learning, achieving 10% higher F1-score compared to MegaDetector. The code for smart camera operation and on-device training is openly available, and we're continuously working on improving the prototype!
