Global Conservation Tech & Drone Forum – Kenya 2026; 2 – 7 March 2026 Trademark Hotel Nairobi & Konza Technopolis

Join the GCTDForum, including the Women in Conservation Forum, the Global Conservation Leaders Roundtable, the Conservation Data Management Summit, and Drone & Data Demonstrations.  Aligned with World Wildlife Day (3 March) and International Women’s Day (8 March). Hosted by the non-profit Nature Drones CIC, the Forum highlights Africa’s leadership in responsible, inclusive conservation technology. Over five days, it will showcase how drones, AI, sensors, robotics, and data systems can protect biodiversity, restore ecosystems, and strengthen communities through open science and practical collaboration. GCTDF - KENYA 2026 also features plenary sessions, breakout tracks, a major Expo and Poster Session, and field demonstrations at Konza Technopolis. Participants will explore themes spanning wildlife monitoring, AI and data governance, ethics, and youth engagement through initiatives such as the Voices from the Sky anthology. All presentations and competition results will be shared under CC BY 4.0, reinforcing the Forum’s commitment to open, ethical innovation in service of nature.

The Global Conservation Tech & Drone Forum (GCTDF 2026) will convene from 2–6 March 2026 in Nairobi and Konza Technopolis, Kenya, aligned with World Wildlife Day (3 March) and International Women’s Day (8 March). Hosted by the non-profit Nature Drones CIC, the Forum highlights Africa’s leadership in responsible, inclusive conservation technology. Over five days, it will bring together scientists, policymakers, technologists, rangers, and youth to explore how drones, AI, sensors, and data systems can advance biodiversity protection, ecosystem restoration, and community resilience through ethical innovation and open science.

GCTDF 2026 features the Global Conservation Leaders Roundtable, the Women in Conservation Forum (WiCF), and the Conservation Data Management Summit (CDMS), alongside plenary sessions, breakout tracks, poster presentations, and live demonstrations at Konza Technopolis. Themes include aerial and marine monitoring, AI and data ethics, interoperability, and climate resilience. Cross-cutting initiatives such as the Voices from the Sky youth anthology, STEM drone workshops, and open competitions foster learning and collaboration. All presentations, datasets, and technical outcomes will be shared under CC BY 4.0, ensuring open, replicable impact.
