The Global Conservation Tech & Drone Forum (GCTDF 2026) will convene from 2–6 March 2026 in Nairobi and Konza Technopolis, Kenya, aligned with World Wildlife Day (3 March) and International Women’s Day (8 March). Hosted by the non-profit Nature Drones CIC, the Forum highlights Africa’s leadership in responsible, inclusive conservation technology. Over five days, it will bring together scientists, policymakers, technologists, rangers, and youth to explore how drones, AI, sensors, and data systems can advance biodiversity protection, ecosystem restoration, and community resilience through ethical innovation and open science.
GCTDF 2026 features the Global Conservation Leaders Roundtable, the Women in Conservation Forum (WiCF), and the Conservation Data Management Summit (CDMS), alongside plenary sessions, breakout tracks, poster presentations, and live demonstrations at Konza Technopolis. Themes include aerial and marine monitoring, AI and data ethics, interoperability, and climate resilience. Cross-cutting initiatives such as the Voices from the Sky youth anthology, STEM drone workshops, and open competitions foster learning and collaboration. All presentations, datasets, and technical outcomes will be shared under CC BY 4.0, ensuring open, replicable impact.
