How do nature tech teams think about their own product experience? (Looking for research conversations)

Hi WILDLABS community. I introduced myself in the welcome thread recently, so I'll keep the context brief here.

I'm André, a designer and founder of Mistaek, a small studio that builds design systems for sustainability tech companies. I've spent the last decade working on complex data products in fintech and insurance, and I'm now focused specifically on nature tech and ocean tech, because the data complexity is real and the design infrastructure often isn't keeping up with it.

I'm at an early stage of understanding this space properly, and I want to do that the right way: by talking to the people actually building these products, not by assuming I already know what the problems are.

Specifically, I'm trying to understand how teams at nature tech companies experience their own products. Things like: how do you make design decisions when you're a small team moving fast? What does it look like when the interface gets in the way of the science? What would need to be true for your product to feel as credible as the work behind it?

If you're building a nature tech product and you're open to sharing your experience, I put together a short survey, about 5 minutes. There's an option at the end if you'd like to talk further. [link to survey]
