I will start by asking: What will the future of conservation be if all the incentives do not hit the jackpot????
In recent years, we have witnessed the emergence of numerous incentives and technological innovations aimed at advancing conservation efforts. These initiatives have brought significant hope and promise. However, if we take a closer look, we find that many of these efforts, despite their good intentions, often fall short of achieving their intended conservation and coexistence goals, especially in developing countries.
While innovative, introducing these technologies and projects sometimes inadvertently adds to the complexity of existing challenges rather than resolving them. The fragmented nature of these initiatives can lead to uncoordinated efforts, ultimately undermining the very objectives they aim to achieve. This raises critical questions: How can we ensure that conservation projects are truly effective and sustainable? What strategies do you think could be used to integrate these efforts more cohesively?
Let's open up the discussion to explore these issues further. What have been your observations and experiences with conservation initiatives? How can we better align our efforts to ensure meaningful and lasting impact in both conservation and community coexistence?"
