Los drones, que se utilizan para captar señales de equipos de seguimiento en tierra, obtener imágenes de la fauna y sus hábitats desde el aire, recopilar datos acústicos con hidrófonos especializados o incluso recoger muestras de mucosidad de los espiráculos de las ballenas, son capaces de recopilar datos de alta resolución de forma rápida, no invasiva y a un coste relativamente bajo.
🌍 Conservation technology is transforming how we protect wildlife, but are we thinking carefully enough about the risks? Drones, camera traps, GPS trackers, acoustic sensors, AI, and remote sensing have become essential tools for conservation practitioners around the world. They help us monitor species, detect threats, and respond faster than ever before.
