Executive Manager & Research Specialist

As the WILDLABS Interim Executive Manager, Talia guides the community and oversees the big-picture programmes. She engages with the community and focuses on making every programme effective, interactive, and connected to the broader conservation tech world. As a researcher, Talia harnesses the collective expertise of our global community to illuminate the rapidly evolving state of conservation technology in its many forms. With an undergraduate education in wildlife ecology and an MSc in global environmental leadership, Talia brings an understanding of both the human and ecological dimensions of conservation research. Based in Boulder, Colorado, she enjoys spending time adventuring in the mountains with her partner and dog Poa in any season.

Henry Rees

Programme Development Manager

Henry keeps WILDLABS running smoothly by finding fundraising opportunities, developing new operation processes, and managing WILDLABS’ partnerships. Working as a trainer in conservation management and leadership for four years, his experience in capacity building,  and grant writing, and impact assessment  also means he can provide insights into the work delivered across the programme, stepping in to manage projects when required. Henry works out of Cambridge, UK.

Jake Burton

Project Officer

Jake supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of the WILDLABS website and The Inventory. He also provides administrative, financial, and multimedia support to various WILDLABS projects, such as AI for Conservation Office Hours. Jake has an academic background in zoology and evolutionary, behavioural, and sensory ecology. He is based at Fauna & Flora in Cambridge, UK.

Vanesa Reyes

Bioacoustics Research Analyst

Vanesa plays a critical role in our bioacoustics horizon scan research, helping to ensure that the conservation technology sector can better support those using bioacoustics in research. Vanesa has a background in bioacoustics herself. She received her PhD in biological sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, where she conducted bioacoustics research on Commerson’s dolphins and the impact of underwater noise. She lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Adrien Pajot

Project Manager

Adrien leads many WILDLABS projects, including the WILDLABS Awards and the planning and development of our first-ever International Conservation Technology Conference. He has over 5 years of experience in the conservation tech sector, and loves the intersection of ornithology and conservation tech. Born and raised in La Rochelle, France.
