What to Expect:
- Learn how EO works and how satellites like Sentinel and Landsat support conservation.
- Monitor habitats and detect changes using time series and vegetation indices (NDVI, NDMI, etc.).
- Track illegal land use and monitor Natura 2000 sites with satellite imagery.
- Combine EO with field data and citizen science platforms (e.g., iNaturalist, GBIF).
- Build practical skills with tools like Copernicus Browser and QGIS—no coding needed!
Training Format:
- 5 core sessions + 1 optional QGIS basics session
- Attend live or watch the recordings at your own pace
- Receive a certificate upon completing all five core sessions
