I'm Maggie Bliss - ecologist, founder of EarthPulse, where we're building a way to read ecosystem health from animal behavioral time budgets. Alongside building it, I'm taking on a limited amount of freelance work over the next few months, and this seemed like the right room to say so.

Three lanes:

Grant writing and editing - science and conservation funding. I write and submit these for my own venture, on deadline, with my own runway riding on them. I know what a proposal needs to do and how little time there usually is to make it do that.

Scientific editing - manuscripts, reports, proposals. TUM M.S. in Sustainable Resource Management, peer-reviewed publications in behavioral ecology. Fully at home in technical material, especially anything behavior or ecology adjacent.

German <> English translation - scientific and technical. Six years in Munich, German-language degree, C1-C2. Useful if you're working with German funders, partners, or literature.
