Hello everyone,
I’m delighted to share that I have recently been awarded an ARIA grant to lead the project Ethics and Governance Framework for Engineering Ecosystem Resilience, in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Cambridge.
This project explores how emerging technologies, including AI, robotics, synthetic biology, and genetic engineering, can be applied to strengthen ecosystems’ ability to adapt to rapid environmental change, while ensuring that ethical and governance considerations are central to their deployment.
As part of this work, we are conducting a survey to gather diverse perspectives from conservation practitioners, technologists, policymakers, academics, Indigenous knowledge holders, and community leaders. Your insights will directly inform the framework we are developing and contribute to broader policy discussions.
