Hi everyone,
I’m part of a project called Innovate 4 Nature, run by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) and funded by Defra (the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs).
We’re exploring the use of biodiversity monitoring technology in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). We're interested in how technology is currently being applied, what the current barriers are, and what opportunities people can see for future application of technology. The evidence we gather will be used to inform interventions and target future funding towards these interventions.
To make sure future tools and support really meet people’s needs, we’re asking for your views through a short, anonymous survey. We’d especially love to hear from anyone living/working in a low- or middle-income country who:
- Lives near, relies on, or works with nature or natural resources
- Has Indigenous or community land rights
- Works in conservation, ecology, or biodiversity research
- Uses environmental data for business, policy, or funding decisions
Deadline: 17 November 2025

Thanks for your time and interest!

Hello again, just boosting this in case anyone wanted to fill out the questionnaire. We extended the deadline for responses until 8th December, so there is one more week to go! Thanks in advance for any support of this research.
