Hi all!

I'm an engineer in search of volunteer/paid work in conservation tech. I just graduated with my master's in mechanical engineering - my thesis was on the development of a periphyton sampler to monitor antibiotic-resistant genes and its integration with crab-inspired robots (more information can be found here). I'm based in NYC and would love to connect with field biologists who are looking for engineering help, either remotely or in the NYC area (or elsewhere for paid work). My skills include CAD design, iterative prototyping, microcontrollers, Python, and robotics. I also look forwards to expanding this list to include biology and ecology based skills. My interests are pretty broad, I just want to do some cool engineering and work with biologists!
