Hello WILDLABS community 👋
I’m Carly, a long-time WILDLABS member who has spent many years learning from, engaging with, and connecting across this incredible conservation tech community. Some of you may already recognize me from Variety Hours, discussion threads, or social media posts! I’m really excited to let you know that I’ll be working more closely with the WILDLABS team over the next few months, supporting communications and community management through the months leading up to, and during, the International Conservation Technology Conference (ICTC) in Lima this February!
In my day-to-day role, I’m the Nature Tech & AI Innovation Manager at Conservation International (CI). CI is part of the WILDLABS partnership, alongside World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), and Fauna & Flora, so it’s especially exciting to be contributing to this shared ecosystem from a slightly different angle while supporting ICTC and the broader WILDLABS community.
I’m looking forward to helping keep conversations flowing, amplifying great work from across the network, and supporting engagement around ICTC as it (quickly!) approaches. Always feel free to reach out to me and the WILDLABS team at [email protected] with any questions, ideas, or concerns. I’m really glad to be here in this capacity for the next few months and excited to connect more deeply with this incredible group.
See you in the community!

Good to know that communications and community management is in good hands! Congrats on the role, good luck where needed and I hope you'll enjoy your time and looking forward to work with you if and when the time comes!
Will you be taking Alex' regular tasks in coordinating groups and attending groups with volunteer group leaders? Or will your time be totally consumed with the ICTC?
