Conservation Technology Job Searching Recommendations

Hi all,

My name is Clark Jackson and I am currently wrapping up my master's degree at Purdue University. My thesis is looking at environmental predictors of wetland methane fluxes and using a low-cost sensor paired with a self-designed calibration model to accomplish this task.

I am beginning the process of job searching and I was wondering if anybody knew of any companies, groups, etc. that specialize in this sort of field? I have grown a passion for sensor development, field application, and using tech to answer conservation based questions. It is seemingly difficult to enter that into a job search base and expect a long line of results, however haha. Thank you all for any input you may have!

Hi Clark!

You can check out the WILDLABS job board here (check the 'Career Opportunity') and also search through the member directory here. The WILDLABS Inventory might also be helpful to peruse!

I would also recommend checking out the Nature Tech Collective and their Directory which list a lot of carbon/nature MRV & data providers, investors, project developers, tech companies, etc.

Following WILDLABS, NTC and orgs/companies you find through their resources on LinkedIn is also great for staying on top of opportunities as they're posted as well as connecting with folks working in those places already.
