Reverse Call for Problems

Hey everyone, I am looking for problems I can help with! I'm a career engineer, and not an expert conservationist, so I've found that one of the ways I can support experts like yourselves is by doing things writing examples, templates and documentation etc for the different (usually confusing) software tools that are out there.I have a little bit of free time at the moment, and so if there is a problem you have, an example of something, a template you need or anything of that sort, I'd be happy to help create it and post it in the open-source world for you and others! Just let me know if you have any ideas!

Hi Keenan,

Just writing to say, what a generous offer! I had so many needs a few years ago, as engineering knowledge is certainly critical to today's conservation challenges! While I don't have problems for you to support solving at the moment, I think this post is brilliant! One day, I would really love to engage with an engineer to help me develop a high-fidelity prototype of the design discussed in my past PhD research, exploring how to engage people with learning calls of critically endangered critters in gameful and playful ways. Given I don't know how to program, I used powerpoint, and conducted playtest explorations, but it would be great to expand on this further! Unfortunately, it's beyond my bandwidth at the moment.
