Hello everyone!
I'm writing an article on institutional investment in conservation/nature and am looking to connect with projects who have been told they are "too small" to invest in. Or anyone who has successfully accessed finance to scale for that matter!
I am new to WILDLABS, so sorry if this is the wrong place for media requests.

Hi Eden. I guess WildLabs is mainly for individual networking and the people you are interested in interviewing may not be members. But maybe some of the projects in New Zealand may be what you are after. I'd be happy to put you in touch with relevant people, just email me at [email protected] with a bit more information about what you are looking for.
Here's some info. At the national level there are the key players listed in
There are literally thousands of groups that are active in conservation in NZ. Many of which can be found on Trap NZ.
At the local level there are small volunteer groups like

There are also some philantropists that invest in conservation efforts through various groups. So let me know what kind of people you would like to interview and I'll find them for you.

There are also initiatives like
The rise of the moth plant in Hawke’s Bay, and the pair on a mission to eradicate it - NZ Herald
Robert Smith is armed with gloves, secateurs, plastic bags and an extension pole sporting a claw. He’s on a mission - to free Hawke’s Bay of the moth plant....
as well as farmers with a passion to restore native vegetation and wildlife etc.

Hello Eden,
I run a 45-year old wildlife technology company based out of Canada. Most commercial technology solutions are developed and sold by a handful of legacy companies like mine. Despite this, we look terrible from the high-return tech investment due to both the limited nature of the wildlife business and perceptions of future growth - but also typically fail to win grants which are also commonly focused on early stage start-ups. Id be happy to chat if you want to reach out directly.

Hi Eden,
Perhaps you should also post your question in the 'Community base' group. It may give you a wider audience within WILDLABS. Just click on 'Edit' to edit your post and add the group in the box where you've picked Funding and Finance.
I am curious, for which medium are you writing your article?
'Too small' is one of the big roadblocks for investment in nature conservation. Do you see solutions for that problem, or do people that you're interviewing see them?
