LOOKING FOR A SOIL BIOACUSTIC RESEARCHER TO JOIN MY PROJECT PROPOSAL
Hello! This is Laura from Italy, participatory and interaction designer working with humans and more than humans.
I am preparing a project proposal involving soil sounds and I need to engage with a bioacustic researcher who will be one of my partner. Basically, it is about record soil sounds and/or use existing libraries. What come next is super exciting: how would we use the sounds will be revealed only to he ones who will answer me with a genuine interest ;)
Looking forward: deadline is super (october 9) near and the idea got clear only a couple do days ago!
Please reach me if you know how to record sounds and can guide people to do it!

Hello Laura,
I am writing to express my interest in soil acoustic monitoring. Incidentally, a couple of months ago, we had initiated acoustic recording of soil at two depths. However, due to inclement weather (excessive rains) and the movement of the researcher carrying out the measurements the recordings were discontinued.
I am a Professor of Ecological Informatics at the Digital University Kerala, and have guided doctoral scholars in Acoustic Ecology.
