My friend Charbax of ARMDevices.net posted a video about  STM's 60GHz Short Range RF system. This module was announced recently at Embedded World 2019, it is designed to provide high bandwith link over short distances. It seems to be perfect for transfering images from camera traps that are encloused in a water tight enclourse (for underwater marine setups) or high in the canopy.
