Join us for this workshop where we'll explore the use of bioacoustic tools to understand biological processes. It's geared toward researchers, naturalists, and the general public and will be presented by a wildlife monitoring specialist representing Wildlife Acoustics. This workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of sound recording, including the use of automated recording units (ARUs), selecting and setting up appropriate equipment, and data management. Participants will also learn firsthand about case studies where acoustic monitoring has been successfully applied to answer ecological questions with management and conservation applications. Please note that only one recording will be sent to attendees.
