I'm excited to share that Instituto Pró-Onça has been selected for a fundraising campaign through Ma Earth, where every donation is matched up to 4:1 by the initiative's sponsors.
We now have just one week left to reach our goal of US$7,000.
Our project is about jaguar conservation, ecological restoration, biodiversity monitoring, and community-led conservation in Brazil's Cerrado. We work with camera traps and field research to better understand jaguar populations while restoring degraded habitats and empowering local women and young people to become active stewards of their landscapes.
Every contribution goes much further thanks to the matching campaign and directly supports fieldwork, habitat restoration, and long-term conservation efforts.
