In this webinar, Dr. Hoffmann will present the research carried out by a German-Polish research team in the Lower Oder Valley National Park. You’ll learn how researchers capture and study these elusive, mostly nocturnal animals and discover the surprising variety of data they provide – from species identity and population trends to ecological relationships and habitat preferences.
We’ll explore which data can be collected in the field, how they are analysed, and what they can tell us about broader ecological patterns. Whether you’re interested in species monitoring, conservation biology, data collection methods, or simply want a behind-the-scenes look at hands-on wildlife science, this session offers a clear and engaging introduction.
