Enrolment Open: QGIS For Wildlife Crime Prevention

I am pleased to share that enrolment is now open for Cohort 6 of my QGIS for Wildlife Crime Prevention training, beginning 3 November 2025. This course uses QGIS and crime science approaches to make conservation data actionable.

The training is delivered online in small cohorts, with two tailored pathways:

  • Foundations Track (8 sessions): for complete beginners – step-by-step introduction to QGIS, no prior GIS experience required.
  • Professional Track (8 sessions including an advanced module): for those with some QGIS familiarity – rapid refresher followed by advanced applications, including SMART data integration, patrol mapping, and crime hotspot analysis.

Key features:

  • 8 × 1.5–2 hour live sessions (recorded for review).
  • Practical exercises with simulated SMART conservation data.
  • Personalised support in a small-group format.
  • Certificate of completion.

Pricing: £400 per participant
(Early-bird £350 if registered by 18 October 2025)
