The 191st Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America will bring together researchers, practitioners, and professionals working across acoustics and related fields.
The meeting will include technical sessions, presentations, and opportunities for exchange across a wide range of topics, including animal bioacoustics, ecological acoustics, underwater acoustics, signal processing, and the application of acoustic methods to environmental research and conservation.
WILDLABS, together with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, is supporting the organization of the special session “From Detections to Ecological Insights: Quantitative Methods in Bioacoustics.” The session will explore robust and reproducible approaches for translating acoustic detections into meaningful ecological insights and actionable conservation science.
Further information, including registration and abstract submission details, is available on the official meeting website.
