Hello!
I just finished this course and really enjoyed it! Thanks so much for putting it together and making it open to all! I am taking a course on spatial systems sciences and will be sharing the link to the course for my fellow classmates to try out.
I did want to make one comment about one of the videos. In Lesson 13 when discussing the merge tool, I think you duplicated the clip video instead of posting a video on how to use the merge tool. I had captions on and am familiar with ArcGIS Pro so it was easy enough to navigate, but just wanted to let you know about this!
Thanks again,
Marissa

Hi, I've got a question regarding joining data, specifically regarding the Hippogriff Sightings and the Sheet1$. We know they're part of the same data because the Unique Key GPS_2 (example) with ObjectID 2 on the Hippogriff Sightings table matches the Unique Key GPS_2 with ObjectID 2 on the Sheet1$. Now what if the Hippogriff table's Unique Key GPS_2 had ObjectID 2, but in the other table, the Unique Key GPS_2 had ObjectID 1, for example? Is there still a way to join them, or it can't happen?

The catch up quiz in this course regarding the coordinate system of the Wonogizi and Wolegizi layers is very confusing. This is what the answers are showing:
The Wonegizi CRS is shown to be Eckert IV (world), but when I open up the properties feature and head to the source tab, the CRS shows that it is Projected Coordinate System
WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere)
Projection
Mercator Auxiliary Sphere
The Wologizi layer is said to have the CRS of WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere), but when I check it out, it is Projected Coordinate System
WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere)
Projection
Mercator Auxiliary Sphere, so it appears to be correct.
For Ziama, the answer is supposed to be WGS 84 / UTM zone 29N, but it is showing only Projected Coordinate System
WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere)
Projection
Mercator Auxiliary Sphere, with no reference whatsoever to UTM 29N.
Could you please help explain this?

I am at the lesson where I'm learning how to calculate the area of each newly projected area. For each of the two other PAs Wologizi and Wonegizi, I appropriately adjusted the 'Double' data type and 'Numeric' format. I also ensured that when calculating geometry, I choose the 29N Coordinate System. For Wologizi, the area calculated turned out to match the one given in the follow up question. For Wonegizi, however, the answer is 363.06, when my answer was 363.31. Could it be because the option of the 'Property' dropdown when calculating the geometry was only showing as Area Geosedic, and not simply just 'Area'?
