Conservation International is looking for a Senior Coordinator, Fisheries Technology to join its Blue Communities team within the Center for Oceans.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, fisheries, ocean conservation, and human rights. The successful candidate will support the deployment and scaling of Wi-Fi connectivity and other technology solutions on industrial fishing vessels through Conservation International’s Accountability at Sea initiative.

The position involves supporting technology implementation, coordinating installations and international travel, providing technical advice, managing project timelines and partnerships, and contributing to program planning and communications.

Location: Seattle, WA (preferred), Honolulu, HI, or Arlington, VA

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in fisheries, ocean technology, monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS), counter-IUU fishing, or a related field. Experience with Wi-Fi systems, satellite connectivity, electronic monitoring, or other onboard technologies is particularly relevant.

Travel: Approximately 10% or more, including domestic and international travel to project sites.
