I'm the Bioacoustics Research Analyst at WILDLABS. I'm a marine biologist with particular interest in the acoustics behavior of cetaceans. I'm also a backend web developer, hoping to use technology to improve wildlife conservation efforts.
The People and Nature Lab at UCL East looking for someone who wants to build or apply AI methods for real biodiversity problems: monitoring ecological change, working with large and complex biodiversity data, forecasting risk, evaluating interventions, and turning data into evidence for action.
The role sits at the People and Nature Lab at UCL East, a collaborative, supportive and interdisciplinary environment working across ecology, data science, AI, engineering, citizen science, policy and nature-positive decision-making.
