WWF’s Russell E. Train Education for Nature Program (EFN) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Fellowship opportunities. These fellowships are designed to empower the next generation of conservation leaders across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Investing in the next generation of conservation leaders is central to WWF’s mission. By supporting advanced education and research, EFN equips local experts with the knowledge and skills to lead change in their regions, strengthening conservation today and building a foundation for long-term impact.

Current and Aspiring University Faculty Fellowship

Supports current and aspiring university faculty affiliated with or employed at African, Asian, Latin American, or Caribbean universities to pursue their PhD in social science or other conservation-related fields, anywhere in the world.
