The artemis R package implements a set of Bayesion latent-variable, truncated data models. These are fit using Stan, a platform for statistic modeling and high-performance statistical computation. The package was created to facilitate the design and analysis of environmental DNA (eDNA) survey studies by offering a suite of models for quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) data from extracted eDNA samples. At its core, artemis is a specialized General Linear Model aimed to model qPCR eDNA data.
