Situated on picturesque Lake Sasajewun in Algonquin Provincial Park, the Station consists of a collection of cabins functioning as accommodations and work space for researchers, workshops and field courses. The Station's vision is to be a leader in wildlife research and experiential learning. Since 1944, they have been supporting wildlife research and conservation, student training in the natural sciences, and outdoor education. Their long history of ecological research has contributed significantly to knowledge, policy, and conservation of species and ecosystems in Canada.
