Visipedia (Visual Encyclopedia) is a community of people and a network of machines that work to collect and organize visual information and make it easily accessible. The project aims to explore new ML techniques and systems to harness crowdsourced expertise to automate classification and processing of species images. They have collaborated with the eBird and iNaturalist communitie to utilize datasets from these platforms.
