Haha well I'm actually not sure if it's possible to differentiate different emojis currently, we only count number of reactions. If we can though, maybe we could group all the 'laughing' reactions into a laughing hyena badge?

I will try and get access to the old site and investigate these missing comments though!

Hello everyone,
what a wonderful place all of you have created.
Wildlabs introducted me to so many great people. You insipred me to build lot´s of sensors
and I learned new skills along the way! Thanks to  @Freaklabs for your  Build Your Own Data Logger (BYODa) course.
During COVID lockdown Variety hours made my day (or evenings) and brought the conservation tec world into my basement workshop.
I can´t thank you enough @StephODonnell,  @carlybatist,  @Rob_Appleby , @Lars_Holst_Hansen and many more!

Beside beeing a Wildlabs fanboy I am a wildlife biologst based right on the edge of the Donau-Auen National Park betwenn Vienna and Bratislava.

I did work and study at the Institute of Wildlife Biology and Game Management, University of Natural Resources and Life Science Vienna (BOKU), Vienna, Austria. I now run my little companies @capreolus and micromacro as a conservation technologist bridging the gap between classical biodiversity monitoring and the emerging use of AI in remote sensing, bioacoustics and monitoring of invasive alien species.
My main fields of interest nowadays are AI | bioacoustics | camera traps | thermalvision | telemetry | UAV | LoRaWAN sensor networks and also creating VR and Gaussian spats of the places I do research.

Greetings from the woods,
Robin

Good question, I'd like to know the answer as well.  I'm inclined to think that it does mean what you say, but I could be wrong and it's still a couple of weeks away till March :)

To clarify. The answer could affect plans I have for the short term. However,  I can also understand a decision that wants to hold the tension right up to the announcement 😀 For myself I’d guess that it’s 99.9999% likely that it’s like you say. I really couldn’t imagine it being any other way.

Hi Kevin and Kim,

Apologies for the delayed response; however, we were unable to provide specific information until today. We aim to reach out to each applicant in the upcoming weeks or months.

All the best,
