2023 F5 Tech for Good Grant Application Now Open

Non-profit organizations addressing issues related to climate justice such as (but not limited to) climate change mitigation/resilience, pollution, hazardous waste, wildlife conservation/restoration or environmental education serving majority BIPOC and/or communities of color are encouraged to apply for one of ten $25,000 USD 2023 Tech for Good grants.

Deadline: 31 May 2023 - the deadline has passed.

Overview

Despite the fact that BIPOC communities have contributed little to historical greenhouse gas emissions, they are disproportionately affected by climate change – from sea level rise and extreme heat to polluted water and toxic chemical exposure.

To help address the scale at which climate change impacts BIPOC and/or underserved communities, greater technology tools and services are needed. Yet, competing or restricted funding priorities limit so many nonprofits from making the technology investments that could expand their reach or accelerate their impact. With this year’s Tech for Good grant, F5 wants to see technology act as the enabler, not the barrier, for nonprofits addressing environmental justice for BIPOC and/or underserved communities.

Grant Target Group

The focus of F5's Tech for Good Grants in 2023 are nonprofit organizations that need greater technology resources to help address the outsized effects of climate change upon Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and/or communities of color. F5 invites eligible nonprofits to apply for the 2023 F5 Tech for Good grants of $25,000 USD. Ten grant partners will be selected.
