The Sierra Madre Conservation Society (SierraPH) is a Philippine non-stock, non-profit organization founded in May 2024. It is dedicated to the protection of mountain ecosystems, biodiversity, cultural landscapes, and the communities that depend on them. While rooted in the Sierra Madre mountain range, SierraPH’s work extends to other critical mountain systems in the Philippines, including the Cordillera and Mindoro.
SierraPH recognizes mountains as lifelines for climate resilience, water security, biodiversity survival, and cultural continuity. Its work operates at the intersection of science, governance, community partnership, and public engagement, prioritizing long-term, ethical, and community-centered conservation approaches.
