Overview

Bio-Sentinel QA is an open-source automated validation framework designed to bring enterprise-grade software reliability to the field of conservation AI. This project addresses the "siloed" nature of current wildlife monitoring models like MegaDetector and BearID. The framework introduces a structured "Test Pyramid" that goes beyond simple accuracy scores, instead subjecting models to rigorous regression and robustness testing against simulated environmental stressors such as heavy rain, fog, and low-light conditions. This ensures that as models are updated, their performance remains stable in the unpredictable environments of the natural world.
