We like that this paper focuses on the needs of field biologists wanting to find a cost-effective and community-friendly method of monitoring endangered species, in this example black rhino in Namibia.
Have you considered using footprints to monitor endangered species? This paper shares three different footprint-based approaches to monitoring black rhino, but these approaches can equally well be adapted for other species.
Send us your ideas or thoughts for new FIT species!
