Tiger, Tiger, Being Tracked - Science Talk with Ullas Karanth

A new podcast from Scientific American with Wildlife Conservation Society researcher Ullas Karanth, who originally trained as an engineer and has studied tigers for over 30 years. In this 20min interview, he discusses state-of-the-art techniques for tracking tigers and estimating their populations and habitat health.

This podcast is an accompanyment to Ullas' article in the July issue of Scientific American, available here for those with subscriptions. The conversation is worth a listen for those interested in how tech is used in tiger conservation.
