Hello buzzing World!

Hi,

I would just like to introduce our Project BEESWAX7 and announce that today we acheived two milestones for success; we recorded bee buzzes using the AudioMoth audio recorder, and, we successfully identified and counted individual species from a lavender bush growing locally in a friend's garden in Chelmsford in overcast-but-warm conditions using our BEESWAX7 species identification and counting program, which idents the buzzes. The initial test results were:

Pratorum (bumble bee) = 1
Terrestris (bumble bee) = 39
Mellifera (honey bee) = 3
Haemorrhoa (mining bee) = 1

I have not run the de-duplifier program yet so there may be a little "Loiter inflation", particularly on Terrestris? Tally ho! Andrew.
