Hello all! I ju st read this article on a new type of tracking collar to be deployed on elephants that can detect gunshots. Have any of you heard of this kind of tech integration? What are your thoughts on it? It's going to be open source, which is really cool! Hopefully it is also cost-effective!

Interesting!
The µMoth initiative also seems very promising. They seem to be employed on dogs now as preparation for use on wild dogs in the Carnivore Bytes project.
