The WHO alongside Facebook, Microsoft, WeChat, Twitter, and several tech companies announced a hackathon to build software to address many of the problems presented by COVID-19.

Over 3,000 independent developers have already joined the Slack channel.

The WHO, scientists at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, University of California San Francisco, and several other serious health and educational organizations have created a list of key projects that need developers and help. More are coming in. If you’re an engineer, designer, PM, or data scientist, there’s lots of work to be done.
