Hi,

I am trying to convince my country's nature protection agency to run a conservation hackathon (on a specific issue or problem of their choice). In order to be convinced, they asked me for success stories from previous conservation-themed hackatons around the world, and while I could give them many examples of great conservation technology solutions, I don't really know which (in any) of them may have been originated as a winning hackathon solution. 

If any of you have good examples of conservation hackathons' success stories to share with me, I'll be very grateful.
