Hi everyone! The Fine Grained Visual Categorization Workshop (FGVC) is hosting its 10th rendition at CVPR this June in Vancouver. A huge part of the workshop is a set of competitions, where folks from the community try out computer vision techniques on a defined application/dataset.
This year, we have a number of conservation/natural-world-related competitions, including one on deep sea creatures, snake identification, fungi recognition, location-based species presence predictions, and more!
Posting this here because I think it'd be way cool if folks from the conservation communities were interested - extra cool if someone from this community wins one of the competitions!
NOTE: most competitions are already open and end mid-to-late May - that leaves plenty of time to join in!
