Amphibians and Acoustic Enrichment in Wildlife Passages

Hi Wildlabbers,

We've got a fascinating paper to show you, as shared with us by Claude Miaud.

This study looks at how amphibian species use wildlife passages beneath railways, and how the inclusion of acoustic enrichment (broadcasting species-specific mating calls in the tunnels) can increase the passage's use. This technique could make wildlife passages more effective and decrease mortality in these populations. Give it a read!

Acoustics comm, how do you think this technique might be applied for other species at wildlife passages? And do you think this technique has other uses for preventing mortality?
