Technology can be applied to combat wildlife crime, but it won’t save species unless rangers, resource managers, communities, law enforcement, market monitors and demand reduction champions have access to the right information and tools.
This Wildlife Crime group aims to forge collaborations and centralize information and reviews from members who are actively using technologies to accelerate the pace of research and development, funding, and appropriate uptake.
For an overview of tools currently being used to combat the poaching, trafficking and illegal sale of wildlife, visit the wildlife crime Resources page.
