Camera Trap Pictures Wanted

Hi All,

Does anyone have some camera trapping imagery they would be willing to share? Imagery will be used for best practice guidelines and supporting website, and will be credited so please indicate who should receive credit.

Please send to [email protected].

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul,

Again, what perfect timing for an ask for photos, as we're in the middle of our annual #Tech4Wildlife photo challenge, and (unsurprisingly) we have had a whole lot of excellent camera trap photos posted!

@adityagangadharan took out top honours in last year's #tech4wildlife photo challenge with a photo story we've called, 'Elephants vs. Camera Traps'. Aditya, you've certainly got some cracking images that you might be willing to share?

@efegraus has accumlated over 2 million images with TEAM Network, as he outlines in his case study here - Eric, you must have couple that could help support some best practise guidelines?

@andy_manu_peru has some incredible images captured from cameras placed at the top of trees (check out his interview and some shots here) - he was also an honorable mention in last year's #tech4wildlife photo challenge. Andy, perhaps you could help Paul out?

@Stuart has been sharing some great #tech4wildlife images from the Conservation Leadership Partnership - Stu, do you guys have some images you could share to support these camera trapping guidelines?

Cheers,

Steph

Are you looking for specific subjects of the imagery? I've got over 20,000 camera trap photos and generate more constantly, so it would be nice if you could narrow down your requirements a bit.

Colin Cook

Hi Colin,

At this time we could certainly use photos of camera traps being deployed, e.g. their setup and placement.

Thanks and best, Paul
