Your device used a VHF transmitter. Could it be adapted to use GSM? I'm looking for tracking devices for raptors (falcon sized).

Which country(ies) would you need GSM coverage in from a GSM provider (SIM card) point of view?
I'm starting to develop GSM for an open tag design at the moment and interested to factor in a few tests with users, and will therefore need to aquire data agreements to make the solution as affordable as possible (especially is one provider doesn't cover the range state alone).
