The Sound and Light Ecology Team at Colorado State University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in acoustic ecology. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with Colorado State University and National Park Service scientists to manage the CSU Undergraduate Listening Lab and to analyze and publish research on soundscapes, bioacoustic conditions, and the relationships between noise and wildlife using the large NPS acoustic dataset. The CSU scientists (PI’s: Lisa Angeloni, Kevin Crooks, George Wittemyer, and Sara Bombaci) are part of a collaborative research team with NPS partners (PI’s: Karen Trevino, Christopher Kavanagh, Emma Brown, and Cathleen Balantic) in the Natural Sounds and Night Skies Division (NSNSD), within the Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate (NRSS) located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
