This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sustainability team. You will work with and support the Director of Climate Impact and be responsible for the collection and management of carbon data, co-ordinating carbon reporting, leading specific carbon related targets e.g energy use, and for providing oversight for some environmental employee engagement initiatives.
Arm’s sustainability team is collaborative and agile and this role will also be an integral part of the team and contribute to joint team outputs, thinking and insights. We want to know what you think!

Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating data collection and calculation for all 3 scopes of our carbon footprint (to Green House Gas Protocol)
- Managing our carbon data collection platform, including co-ordination of data owners across the organisation
- Leading our energy use and renewable energy targets
- Running our annual commute survey
- Co-ordinating carbon and environmental data for internal and external reporting including supporting SECR, CDP, and TCFD as well as any relevant incoming ESG reporting related to climate
- Overseeing Arm’s environmental engagement initiatives including environmental ambassadors network, our low carbon behaviour change app, and suite of guides and checklists to support low carbon decision making
- Leading and managing relevant contracts with external suppliers
Required Skills and Experience:
Education & Qualifications
- Relevant university degree (or equivalent qualification) or significant experience
Technical Skills & Experience
- Experience in an environmental sustainability role
- Experience or strong understanding of carbon emissions calculations across all Scopes
- Strong numerical and analytics skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Broad understanding of climate change issues and ability to translate climate change theory into practice
Interpersonal Skills and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work and communicate at a detailed or a high level
- Capable of working as a valued team member or independently
- Confirmed problem solver
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Running multiple workstreams concurrently
- Confident and capable to collaborate with individuals and teams outside the Sustainability team to get things done
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a corporate role
- Interest in or experience of the technology sector
- Understanding of some of the existing and upcoming sustainability reporting regulations particularly those relevant to climate change
- Experience leading and running workstreams as well as supporting them
